Homemade Lemon Macaron
With Pierre Hermé's recipes for Macaron Citron and Lemon Curd. Normally, I am not a big fan of lemon desserts, but this lemon macaron has changed my idea of lemon desserts completely. The lemon curd filling is simply amazing and so delicious, without overwhelming sweetness or one-dimensional sharp sourness of the lemon at all. The sweetness and the sourness are in perfect balance in this Pierre Hermé's recipe, making this macaron so special and unforgettable. It is hard to believe that something made out of such simple ingredients (like lemon, sugar, egg, almond flour, butter) can turned out to be such a rich, gorgeous dessert.
